This 5 day safari trip will take you to the most popular safari destination in Africa – Maasai Mara National Reserve and Lake Nakuru National Park.
The reserve is home to thousands of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle, which make the phenomenal annual migration, known as the Great Migration. These herbivores migrate north from the Serengeti in about July and return south crossing the Mara River in about November in search of water and fresh grazing.
This dramatic spectacle is one of the most impressive natural phenomena on earth, especially watching the herbivores plunge into the Mara River where crocodiles and hippos lie in waiting. The high concentration of grazers in turn attracts impressive numbers of predators. Lions are commonly sighted in Maasai Mara with cheetahs and leopards being harder to spot but still reasonably common.

Day 1
Nairobi - Maasai Mara
Pick up in the morning around 7:00am Nairobi; proceed to Maasai Mara Game reserve. The journey takes 5-6 hours. Stop at the Great Rift Valley view Point for a moment. Arrive in Maasai Mara in the afternoon and enjoy an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at Camp.
Day 2
Full Day Maasai Mara Game Drive
Full day spent game viewing exploring the Game reserve in search of the Big 5, and other variety of wildlife Game
Includes: elephant, Black Rhino, buffalo, plains zebra, white-bearded gnu, Oribi, warthog, Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelle, hartebeest and the big cats. The rivers are home to hippo and crocodile as well.
All your meals and overnight stay will be at the camp.
Day 3
Full Day Maasai Mara Game Drive
Full day spent game viewing exploring the Game reserve in search of the Big 5, and other variety of wildlife Game
Includes: elephant, Black Rhino, buffalo, plains zebra, white-bearded gnu, Oribi, warthog, Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelle, hartebeest and the big cats. The rivers are home to hippo and crocodile as well.
All your meals and overnight stay will be at the camp.
Day 4
Maasai Mara - Lake Nakuru
Early Morning pre-breakfast game drive. After breakfast, depart the Mara region for Nakuru National park, lunch en route, with scenic views of Mt. Longonont and Lake Naivasha from a far away on the main highway. Dinner and overnight at the budget hotel
Day 5
Lake Nakuru - Nairobi
After an early morning breakfast, proceed for an extensive morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park known for it’s millions of flamingos and other water birds.
Leave Nakuru after lunch back to Nairobi arriving late in the afternoon.
